Home again, home again, jiggety-jig!
There's recently been a certain amount of excitement in the leftwing media, both mainstream and bloggy. Gideon's had his fun budget, the Aussies now have a new girly PM (because the old one was too leftwing) and Obama has sacked the man he put in charge of Afghanistan (for making jokes about him). And "our boys" (who are neither ours, since they are the Queen's, nor boys, because, er, they're not) are back from the Malabar Front Helmand.
So, on this happy St John's Day, let us reflect how dull life would be were it not for crazy liberals (who hate all "religions", including Islam), crazy Islamists (who hate Britain), crazy "English patriots" (and there seems to be something going 'round), a crazy new Tory Defence Secretary (who plans to win hearts and minds in Afghanistan by being rude about the place) and of course the whacked out weirdos of Unite Against Fascism (but only of the white variety, presumably!).
It's almost enough to make one pity the PBI.
