These are eight of the Bormanns’ ten children - what it was all for, though in the end it came to nothing.
All that hope, all that joy, all that bravery and sacrifice, all that warmth and beauty and purity and loveliness, all thrown away and burnt by an implacable Enemy whose heart knows only darkness and emptiness!
Weep for them, but also pray for their love.
